The Rocky Trails to Restoration Method™: ADHD Edition

Moving from executive burnout to grounded, neuro-affirming momentum.

There comes a point where pushing harder, masking your struggles, and trying to override your executive dysfunction no longer works. You may look incredibly capable on the outside while internally feeling completely paralyzed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or trapped in cycles of hyper-focus and absolute collapse that no longer feel sustainable.

The Rocky Trails to Restoration Method™ is a high-touch private coaching experience designed to help you move from chronic neurodivergent overstimulation and executive overwhelm into a more grounded, intentional, and accommodating way of living.

This work is not about quick fixes, surface-level transformation, or trying to fix your brain with rigid neurotypical calendars. It is a structured, neuro-affirming, and holistic process that supports lasting change by addressing the invisible systems underneath burnout, task paralysis, and emotional depletion—including your nervous system, dopamine cycles, home environment, self-relationship, and spiritual well-being. Through this work, you are supported in creating a life that feels calmer, more low-friction, and more fully aligned with who you authentically are when the mask comes off.

The 4-Phase Pathway

1. Simplify (Mindful Living for the ADHD Brain)

Create your sanctuary, reclaim your peace.

Instead of standard organizing, this phase focuses on reducing the intense overstimulation that high-masking ADHD adults experience daily.

Create a calmer external environment and more intuitive daily rhythms through mindful living and low-friction lifestyle simplification. This phase focuses on accommodating object permanence, reducing sensory overstimulation, creating flexible routines, deconstructing overwhelming maintenance tasks, and building a life that completely bypasses chronic executive paralysis.

Focus: Dopamine-friendly decluttering (keeping active projects visible but contained to reduce "out of sight, out of mind" anxiety).

Routines: Designing low-friction, flexible routines rather than rigid schedules that trigger demand avoidance.

Environment: Setting up supportive physical environments that minimize sensory overload and decision fatigue.

2. Restore (Sustainable Self-Care & Nervous System Support)

Restore balance, recover from burnout.

ADHD brains are highly prone to "autistic/ADHD burnout" from trying to fit into neurotypical standards. This phase focuses on physiological and mental recovery.

Begin by reducing immediate overwhelm and restoring balance through sustainable, dopamine-friendly self-care, nervous system regulation, sensory accommodations, and deep neurodivergent burnout recovery. Together, we create supportive, shame-free practices that help you feel more grounded, emotionally steady, and physically supported in daily life.

Focus: Moving out of a constant state of "fight or flight" or ADHD paralysis.

Nervous System Support: Finding dopamine-rich, restorative activities that actually rest the brain (moving away from doom-scrolling).

Sustainable Change: Unpacking the "all-or-nothing" cycle of self-care and finding realistic micro-habits that work on low-energy days.

3. Rebuild (Self-Relationship Coaching & Unmasking)

Transform how you relate to yourself.

Years of struggling with executive dysfunction usually leave a trail of shame, negative inner dialogue, and low self-trust.

Strengthen your internal foundation through deeper, compassionate self-relationship work. Together, we focus on unlearning the deep inner shame of executive dysfunction, processing Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), building authentic self-trust after years of broken promises to yourself, and standing firmly in protective energy boundaries.

Focus: Rebuilding self-trust after years of broken promises to yourself.

Boundaries: Learning how to say no to extra tasks before hitting an executive function wall.

Self-Compassion: Shifting the inner voice away from shame ("Why can't I just do this normal thing?") and toward curiosity ("What accommodation do I need right now?").

4. Align (Spiritual & Executive Alignment)

Reconnect with something deeper.

When the chaos settles, this phase helps the individual map out a life that honors how their specific brain naturally works.

Reconnect with your unique values, intuition, creative purpose, and spiritual life in a way that feels flexible and authentic to your fast-moving brain. This phase supports greater clarity, alignment, inner peace, and a connection to a life where you trust your natural energy surges instead of constantly fighting them.

Focus: Rediscovering personal hyper-focus areas, values, and authentic identity underneath the ADHD mask.

Intuition & Energy: Learning to work with natural energy surges and hyper-focus cycles rather than fighting against them.

Deeper Purpose: Aligning work, creativity, and lifestyle so they feel deeply meaningful and sustainably stimulating.

What Makes This Different

Many approaches focus on only one isolated area of well-being. Some focus only on mindset, and others focus only on emotions, traditional spirituality, or hyper-rigid productivity hacks that actually trigger demand avoidance for an ADHD brain. This work recognizes that neurodivergent overwhelm and burnout are not isolated experiences—they are whole-system, whole-life patterns.

Rather than offering temporary coping strategies or compliance-based habits, The Rocky Trails to Restoration Method™ supports sustainable transformation by integrating practical lifestyle accommodations, emotional regulation, self-relationship work, mindful living, and fluid spiritual alignment into one cohesive, neuro-affirming process. This allows change to feel natural, grounded, and lasting over time because it actually works with your biology instead of against it.

This Work May Support You If You:

  • Feel emotionally exhausted, sensorially overstimulated, or chronically overwhelmed

  • Are tired of constantly masking your struggles and forcing yourself to hold everything together

  • Want a highly flexible, sustainable, and intentional way of living that honors your energy cycles

  • Feel completely disconnected from yourself beneath the relentless demands and maintenance of daily life

  • Crave greater neurological calm, executive clarity, and shame-free alignment

  • Are ready for deeper, whole-life transformation that celebrates your authentic neurotype

The Result

This work is not about trying to squeeze your brilliant, creative brain into a standard mold or becoming someone entirely new. It is about creating a life that feels completely supportive of the person you already are. A life with:

  • Greater nervous system calm, stability, and fewer intense sensory waves

  • Healthier, shame-free personal and protective energy boundaries

  • Supportive, low-friction daily rhythms that accommodate executive dysfunction

  • Deeper self-trust and self-compassion after years of masking and self-doubt

  • Meaningful, fluid spiritual connection that fuels your unique brain

  • And a stronger sense of authentic, unmasked alignment within yourself and your life

Over time, these shifts begin to create something many high-achieving women with ADHD have not experienced in a very long time: A way of living that feels completely accommodating, sustainable, grounded, and genuinely restorative.

  • Sarah is amazing. I found Sarah during a time when I needed a lot of help. Last year was a pretty tough year for me, between my mom passing away, struggling financially, and dealing with a bad relationship. Sarah’s support was essential to my growing and moving forward. She helped me to think about things that were going on in my life in a way that helped me to see the bigger picture. I was then able to recognize the details in a way that I had never been able to do on my own. She has continued to demonstrate unbiased and loving support to me. I would recommend Sarah to anyone who is in need of guidance and/or spiritual support in their lives. Thank you, Sarah!

  • Sarah is a skilled listener, packed full of patience and empathy. I felt comfortable sharing issues with her - no matter how sensitive – and we always ended our sessions with new insights or plans that I could really use in my life. Sarah always creates a safe and supportive environment, and I’ve appreciated our time together so much! I highly recommend her services!!

  • Sarah asked great questions, which challenged me to recommit to my goals. She helped me to understand why I was not making my goals a priority, and she encouraged me to reflect on the importance of mindfulness and intentionality. This has been incredibly powerful for me, as I have reached my goals and now continue to strive toward new goals.
